【Danyang=KoreaPlus】 Reporter Bong Ji Hyun = Kkaebi visits National Institute of Ecology.
From 14 th to 16th this June, Korea Ecotourism Network has hosted an Introductory Ecotourism Director Educational Course at National Institute of Ecology, located in Choongcheongnamdo Seocheon. As defined in Wikipedia, Ecotourism is a form of tourism involving responsible travel (using sustainable transport) to natural areas, conserving the environment, and improving the well-being of the local people.
In the three days of the course, participants will learn about implementing Ecotourism in our areas. In hopes of having a better idea on how to educate travelers to provide funds for ecological conservation and benefit the local community. With Banggok Dokkaebi Experience Town sharing urban-rural exchange programs with Woraksan Nation Park, this introductory course will aid in improving tourism and educating the public in ecological conservation.
