【Danyang=KoreaPlus】Reporter Bong Ji Hyun=Autumn Breeze in Banggok Town

Summer of 2020 has been kind to us in Banggok town, without any swealtering nor damage. This year has been hard for many farmers all around the nation due to extremely long rainy season, causing many landslides and flooding resulting in washed out fields and deteriorating crops. To top this off, we were visitied with the effects of  multiple typhoons knocking down trees and flushing us with more rain, Korea has not seen this much rain in more than 40 years.

However, our little town has survived these hardships considerably without the need for restoration. Being protected by sturdy mountain ranges of Wolrak and Sobaek National Parks, no winds or rain have caused any mishaps.

Now we are greeted by chilly winds to remind us of autumn colors to brighten up our natural canvas, it is time to bundle up in our warm fuzzy blankets and greet the change of weather with, perhaps, a cup of warm Omija tea.
