During our brief encounter, animated stories were shared about their travel mission, and their search for something special to add to their growing “bucket list“.
Travelling together twice each year, they have decided to tour our wonderful Danyang and ended up in our quiet pottery town Banggok.
Having owned and held many different pottery items over the years, they have always been intrigued by the manufacturing process which brought them to the right place to experience first hand in making their own in the traditional way.
Having travelled from a coastal town of Pusan, they looked tired but were very enthusiastic about this trip through mountain ranges and their very first clay experience.
As a reporter and a manager of an experince town, we get to meet many people and feel their stories during a short period of time.
This introduction was an extremely heartfelt learning experience for both parties and a reminder that so much can be learnt at any age and time as long as we have the right attitude towards life.
