As spring in season with many blossoms coming to its end, it is now time for Azaleas to be in their full bloom. Danyang of Choongbuk, is now preparing for their yearly Sobaek Mountain Azalea Festival, which starts on the 31st of May till 4th June.
Sobaek Mountain Azalea Festival of Danyang is organized by the Cultural Center of Danyang and this year’s festival has extended an extra day compared to past celebrations. Although Azaleas are in full bloom all over town, the main attraction of the Azaleas on Sobaek Mountain is to be at its fullest during the festival.
Many other entertainment and experience booths will be set up for visitors of all ages and generations to enjoy for the full 5 days. If planning a visit, do organize travel and lodging in advance n order to avoid any disappointment.
