【Danyang=KoreaPlus】 Reporter Bong Ji Hyun = Visit 39th Azalea Festival
Danyang is once again hosting their yearly flower festival, and this year it has extended a full day of enjoyment. This year, 39th Azalea Festival of Sobaek Mountain, will start off on the 31st of May with the traditional ritual on Sobaek Mountain.
Hiking trails are open to the public all throughout the festival, 31st May ~ 4th June, in order for flower enthusiasts to enjoy the outstanding view of Azaleas at their fullest. The last four days of the festival is packed with many attractions and entertainment for all ages to enjoy. This year promises a larger crowd than last year, as more advertising and experience booths are added, with various singing tournament programs and concerts arranged for daily evening entertainment.
Dokkaebi Experience Town, as the regular experience booth operator, is once again offering interesting experiences for all to enjoy at a very reasonable price. With this year’s theme “Off with the Heat”, Dokkaebi is back with their famous Omija Slushie and believes another successful event to help promote Danyang Tourism and for Dokkaebi Experience Town itself.
